Product Description

Steelox SA supplies BS 1501-161-430A boiler plates for use in welded heat-resistant environments.

Grade 430A is a fully killed carbon steel designed for fabrication, offering reliable mechanical performance and good fabrication characteristics.

Plates up to and including 40 mm thickness are supplied in the as-rolled (AR) condition unless normalising is specifically requested. Plates exceeding 40 mm thickness are supplied in the normalised (+N) condition.
